Digital Mental Health AI-Driven Behavioral Risk Monitoring for Postpartum Mothers

Challenges

Challenges

  • Postpartum depression was frequently undetected due to limited clinical touchpoints.

  • Self-reported surveys produced inconsistent signals because of stigma and underreporting.

  • No scalable method existed to identify early behavioral deviations that warranted intervention.

Our Apporach

Built a privacy-safe behavioral analytics engine using phone usage metadata, sleep patterns, and journaling behavior signals.

Developed an AI-based emotional shift detector using sentiment and linguistic pattern analysis.

Integrated signals into a risk stratification model to categorize users into low / monitor / high-risk.

Enabled clinicians to receive flagged cases with context, not raw data — preserving dignity & confidentiality.
